Davis Kim

Hi, I’m Davis, a software engineer passionate about building systems that bridge hardware and software. I recently graduated from UC Riverside with a B.S. in Computer Science and work as a Software & Controls Intern at Sorenson Engineering, where I contribute to PLC programming, automation, and controls for precision manufacturing. My experience spans embedded systems, automation, and full-stack development, from coding C/C++ for microcontrollers and programming PLCs in structured text to analyzing over one million GitHub repositories and leading teams to ship real applications. I’m especially interested in solving problems at the hardware–software intersection and excited to keep growing in embedded systems, controls, and automation.
